Run out the Guns performing on the main stage at 6pm
Come all ye and help us celebrate the life, ideas and legacy of Wigan born Gerrard Winstanley – 17th Century radical social activist who declared ‘The Earth is a common treasury for all’.
The FREE festival will feature music throughout the day on two stages, along with poetry, stalls offering ideas and visions for a better, fairer world, food and drink – all at NORTHERN PRICES.
Come for all or part of the day – be part of something bigger and better for you being there!
The whole thing starts with a short parade and a symbolic reenactment of the collective occupation of St George’s Hill and the planting of crops to be shared between the Diggers community.
