The Halfway House – 1893

Taken over by real ale enthusiast Aaron Parkinson in January 2020, and recently refurbished, this large popular open plan locals’ pub was first licensed in 1860. Three reasonably priced changing beers from Glossop, Mossley, Greenfield and further afield are available on handpumps. Function room available (capacity 50), live music either Friday or Saturday, karaoke Sundays. Children welcome until 6pm.
