Lazlo Baby delivers Balkanic folky ska with high octane exuberance. They dabble in the delights that Klezmer, gypsy and traditional Irish music have to offer, then stitch together pounding melodies that’ll clobber you with their enthusiastic brouhaha.
Lazlo Baby began to play their twisty folk in 2010 at their own Open Mic night in Eastern Stockport. They have honed their craft in these intervening years and have emerged as an energetic blend of folky ska, heavily influenced by Eastern European traditional music.
